Basic Construction Skill for Mission

 

This training provides essential hands-on skills needed for basic construction projects that are appropriate for the mission field. The focus will be on indigenous techniques that can be utilized in impoverished contexts for sustainable development.

 

We welcome anyone who sees construction needs in the mission field and interested in international community development and meeting basic human needs to interface with IBCD.

 

 

• The layout of a basic structure

• Excavation of footings

• Mixing, placing concrete

• Mixing mortar, laying concrete block

• Framing roof structure, installing tin

• Setting doors and windows

• Cement stucco finishing

 

 

In the training, we build the Kingdom of God with Jesus Christ our cornerstone and plumb line.
